Los Angeles County murals
The city of Los Angeles and the rest of the county. Same quote process, more road, a longer reply.

Neighborhoods in this pass
- Downtown and the Arts District
- Highland Park and Northeast LA
- Hollywood and East Hollywood
- South Los Angeles and Inglewood
- the San Fernando Valley
- Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley
Los Angeles County is large enough that “a mural in LA” can mean a loading dock downtown or a side yard in the Valley. Both can request a quote. The map on this page is centered on downtown so you can see the middle of the county. It is not a claim that every mural happens there.
The studio drives up from Long Beach. Travel from Long Beach is part of the quote. It also means a wall in Pasadena or Sylmar should not expect the same turnaround as a wall on 4th Street. Say the neighborhood in the first note. Arts District, Highland Park, Inglewood, East Hollywood, the Valley, and the San Gabriel Valley are all reasonable asks. So is a city in the county that is not on that list.
The drawing is the studio’s: bats, gargoyles, urban flowers, a little horror, a lot of affection. A business can ask for its name. A house can ask for a figure that is not a bat. The answer might still be a bat if that is the picture the wall wants, and the request is the place to argue for something else.
Bring permission. A landlord in another state is fine if the wall is here and the permission is in writing. The studio will not invent a permit answer for the City of Los Angeles. If a permit, a business improvement district, or an HOA is involved, the property checks before a date is set.
Walls outside the county, including most of Orange County, are on the other landing pages. Walls outside all three areas are quoted case by case — start with the commission form.
Questions about Los Angeles County
Do mural quotes cover all of Los Angeles County?
Yes. Quotes are available across the county, not only the city of Los Angeles. Long Beach has its own page because the studio is based there. A wall in Pasadena, Inglewood, or the Valley can still request a quote.
Why is the wait different from Long Beach?
Distance. A day in the Valley or the San Gabriel Valley costs more driving than a wall ten minutes from the studio. The quote still covers the mural. The date is just later, and the reply should say so instead of pretending every wall is equally close.
Can you paint a business in the Arts District or Highland Park?
Yes, if the business controls the wall or brings written permission from the landlord. Name the neighborhood in the request and send a daylight photo. This page does not claim those walls have already been painted.
What goes into the quote?
Size, design complexity, travel from Long Beach, access equipment, and wall prep. Lifts, scaffolding, and multi-story walls are part of the quote too.
What if the owner of the building lives outside Los Angeles?
The wall's location is what matters, not the owner's mailbox. If the wall is in Los Angeles County and the person requesting the mural can prove permission, it qualifies. The permission still has to be real.
